Crawford Joins Ferrum Staff As Golf Coach

crawfordDirector of Athletics Abe Naff has announced the hiring of Adam Crawford as Head Men's Golf Coach and Assistant Women's Basketball Coach.  Crawford joined the Ferrum staff July 1st.

Crawford played golf four years for the Panthers, earning Academic All-Conference each year as well as Academic All-State at the conclusion of his senior year in 2007.  After graduating from Ferrum in the spring of 2007, Crawford completed the Professional Golf Association (PGA) professional golf management program. He is now certified as a Class A PGA Professional.

Crawford will assist Head Women's Basketball Coach Bryan Harvey on the Panther bench. Crawford played golf his final two years at Ferrum for Harvey, who led the Panther golf program for the past five years.

Crawford hails from Floyd, Virginia, where he prepped at Floyd County High School. He played four years with the Buffalo golf program, helping the team win back-to-back state championships in 2000 and 2001. He also played basketball three years at Floyd County. Crawford and his wife Kayla reside in Floyd.
