Graves Named ODAC Track Athlete of the Year

Read More...FOREST, VA – For the third year in a row, Carmen Graves has been named ODAC Track and Field Athlete of the Year. In 2012, Graves won the award outright, while in 2011 she was named Co-Track and Field Athlete of the Year along with Lynchburg's Jessica Gibbs.

 

Maroons Spring Back in Second Game of NCAA Regional Tournament

Read More...The Roanoke College softball won 8-1 over Penn State-Altoona in the first elimination game of the 2013 NCAA Division III Softball Atlantic Regional Tournament.  The Maroons now have a record of 31-13, while the Lady Lions exit the Tournament with a record of 27-12.

Read More...The Roanoke College softball team fell in game two of the 2013 NCAA Division III Softball Atlantic Regional Tournament on Thursday, 8-0 in five innings to Christopher Newport.  The Maroons now sit with a record of 30-13, while the Captains move to the Friday, 2:00 PM game against Salisbury with a record of 33-11.

   

Maroons Win ODAC Championship, Defeat Washington and Lee

Read More...SALEM – In a match that was as tight as it was the first time these two teams played this season, the Roanoke College men's lacrosse team won its 18th ODAC Championship after defeating Washington and Lee 10-9 on Sunday.  The Maroons win in the 2013 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship leaves the team with a record of 15-3, while the Generals sit with a mark of 15-4.

   

Four Maroons Named To 2013 Softball All-ODAC Squad

Read More...Four Roanoke College softball players were named to the 2013 All-ODAC Softball Team, while one won a special award for the second straight year.  Leona Rainey and Alea Bier were named to the All-ODAC First Team, while Stephanie Clark and Kelly Higbie were named to the All-ODAC Second Team.  Bier was also the recipient of the ODAC Softball Scholar-Athlete Award, an honor she earned in 2012 as well.

Read More...The #19 regionally ranked Roanoke College women's tennis team fell in the 2013 ODAC Championships to #16 in the nation, Washington and Lee, 5-0 on Sunday afternoon.  The Maroons finish their season with a record of 14-4, while the Generals advance with a mark of 18-5.

Read More...The Roanoke College baseball team fell in the opening game of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament on Thursday, 3-1.  The Maroons now have a record of 18-20, while the Eagles sit with a mark of 29-9.

Read More...HARRISONBURG – The #18 Roanoke College softball team took two games against Eastern Mennonite University on Friday afternoon, winning 2-1 and 9-1. The Maroons now have a record of 15-4, 4-0 in ODAC play while the Royas are now 14-8, 3-3 in the ODAC.
