Former Tech Quarterback Playing In Richmond

VT_LogoFormer Tech quarterback Bryan Randall made his debut for the Richmond Revolution, a professional team in the Indoor Football League, on March 6. Randall, who holds the school records for career passing and career total offense, threw for 240 yards and seven touchdowns, with just one interception, guiding the Revolution to a 49-37 victory over the Bloomington Extreme in Bloomington, Ill.

There are other former Tech players on the team as well. Former defensive ends Lawrence Lewis and Noland Burchette play, along with former rover Michael Crawford and former walk-on Chris Segaar. Former Tech fullback Brian Edmonds serves as the team’s running backs coach.

The Revolution open their home slate on Saturday, March 13, at the Arthur Ashe Athletic Center. Kickoff is slated for 7:05 p.m. For more information on the team, check out the team’s Web site at www.richmondrevolution.com.
