Virginia Amateur Sports is holding their annual golf tournament on Friday, Sept. 23rd at Hanging Rock Golf Course. Lunch will be provided at noon and tee time is 1 p.m.

MIDLOTHIAN, Va., - Recent Virginia State Golf Association Junior Stroke Play champion Jake Mondy (Blacksburg) and U.S. Junior Amateur semifinalist Adam Ball (Richmond) headline a list of eight junior golfers selected to represent the Virginias team against their Carolinas counterparts at the 29th Virginias-Carolinas Junior Matches at Boonsboro Country Club in Lynchburg, Va., on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 13-14.

MIDLOTHIAN, Va., ––  Charlottesville’s Fitz Woodrow IV, 13, shot 1-under-par 71 to win the 12-13 year-old boys division as the 5th Virginia State Golf Association Youth Championship concluded Thursday at Independence Golf Club. The event included boys and girls, ages 13 and under.
