New River Valley 15 National Volleyball team recently competed in three tournaments, as they played in DC, at JMU and in the Shamrock Festival with great success.

The NRV team finished third in an 88-team tournament at DC, won a tournament at JMU with an 8-0 record, and finished 9-8 in the Shamrock Festival playing one year up.  (NRV is a 15's team and played in the 16's division).  So far this season, NRV has compiled a 53-26 mark.

Next Saturday, NRV goes to Richmond for a one-day event.  The next weekend, the team travels to Atlanta for the 3-day BigSouth National Qualifier. On April 17-18, they will participate in the State Championships, where the winning team advances to Nationals in Reno Nevada.
