The 12 and under NRV Sparks recently attended their first tournament of the season in Marion, and were named the "New Year's Bash Champs." 

The Sparks won all three of their games, where they finished first in their division and second overall in the tournament. Coach Hubble and Coach Viers were pleased with the effort and teamwork displayed by the girls during the tournament.

The Sparks will be attending upcoming tournaments in Glenvar and Floyd on Jan. 30-31 and Feb. 6-7.
