The Runnin’ Rebels started their season with a record of 4-0. The Runnin’ Rebels select girls basketball team recently played up in the middle school age division against 7th & 8th graders, and captured the championship of the NRV Elite Super Jam.

En route to the championship of the two-day tournament, the Rebels played two teams on Saturday December 11th, 2010. They defeated Mullens Devils (38-18), & they won against the Princeton Pineriders (46-38).
 
On Sunday December 12th, 2010 they played against the Christiansburg Lady Demons and won (40-11) catapulting them into the CHAMPIONSHIP game. In the CHAMPIONSHIP game against the Princeton Pineriders, the Rebels were in the lead the entire 1st half (18-10). They pulled away in the 2nd half & captured a powerful win over the Princeton Riders (47-26)!
