Louisiana will now face Laurel-Jones County, Mississippi in the championship game tonight starting approximately at 8:00 pm.
North Carolina got solo home runs in the first from Dustin Darguzas and the fourth Tyler Barnes to tie the score at two.
Louisiana scored a pair of runs on an error in the second before Seth Christian launched a two-run home run in the fourth to give them the lead. A two-run single in the fifth by starting pitcher Patrick Whipple made the lead 6-2.
North Carolina loaded the bases twice in the seventh and scored two runs before Will Daniels shut the door for Louisiana for the save.
Whipple picked up the victory pitching into the seventh allowing just four hits, two runs, while striking out nine. Kevin Harris took the loss.
