Christiansburg Parks and Recreation will be hosting the 2011 Virginia Dixie Boys and Junior Boys State Tournament starting today, Friday, July 15, at the Harkrader Sports Complex. There will be 21 teams vying for the Dixie Boys State Championship and 3 teams in the Dixie Junior Boys with the winner representing he state of Virginia in the 2011 Dixie Boys and Junior Boys World Series held in South Carolina.

The following match?ups will start the tournament on Friday, July 15. This is a double elimination tournament with the final two playing a best of 2 out of 3.

Admission:
1st day Adults (ages 13 and up) $6.00 (on the 1st day  $1 will go to the Dixie Baseball Scholarship Fund)
Youth (ages 6 to 12) $5.00 (on the 1st day $1 will go to the Dixie Baseball Scholarship Fund)
(ages 5 and under) Free
All other days admission will be Adults (ages 13 and up) $5.00
Youth (ages 6 to 12) $4.00
(ages 5 and under) FreeNo coolers will be allowed except for one team cooler.
