The Roanoke Star U13 Boys Elite returned home from Richmond on March 13th as the 2011 Jefferson Cup Champions. The Jefferson Cup is one of the highest rated youth soccer tournaments and is ranked number 1 in the US.

The Cup certainly lived up to its reputation and offered some very competitive games! The Roanoke Star U13 Boys Elite played some excellent creative soccer as well as being defensively sound as they won all four games to become Tournament Champions.

On route to the championship, the team only allowed two goals in four games including two shut outs and outscored their opponent 9-2. We are proud of the performance of the boys and extend a well deserved congratulations to the team for winning the Jefferson Cup.
