The Roanoke Star U14 Boys Elite team ended their VCCL season on a high note by bringing home the championship hardware after winning the CASL Shootout in Raleigh, NC. The CASL Shootout consist of over 100 clubs in their age bracket.
The Stars played possession style soccer all weekend that allowed them to find different ways to exploit their opponents weaknesses. They closed the weekend with five goals and didn’t allow the opponents to score once all weekend. They look to continue their winning ways as they head to Bethesda, MD where they will be competing in the Bethesda Thanksgiving Soccer Tournament which is part of the highly esteemed Atlantic Soccer League (ASL).
