The Force started off strong against the Vipers scoring 2 runs in the 1st off of miscues by the Viper defense.  Bailey Grubb would set the tone for the Force defense striking out 3 of the first 7 Viper batters supported by great plays from the Force infield including Alaina Crockett and Raegan Parks.  Michelle Kembel put down a perfect bunt with Laura Leonard on base in the 2nd to force a mistake by the Viper defense resulting in 2 runs scoring.  The Force would tack on one more run in the 4th when Cassi Parulis drove in Morgan Decker who reached on a fielder’s choice.  The Vipers threatened in the 4th with 2 back to back hits with 2 outs to score 2 runs.  The Force then showed their teamwork with a throw from the Force center fielder Cassi Parulis to 2nd baseman Morgan Stanley who then threw a laser to Raegan Parks at 3rd for the final out of the game to preserve the 5 -2  win.  Bailey Grubb picked up the win in the circle giving up 2 runs on 3 hits while striking out 5.

The Force would once again meet the Wildcats in the championship game.  The Force scored first with singles by Bailey Grubb and Haley Green.  Raegan Parks would then pick up the RBI with a single up the middle to score Grubb who slide threw the wickets at the plate to avoid the tag.  The Force defense ran out of gas having played three back to back games in the 95 degree heat.  The Wildcats bats took over ending the bid for the championship.  The Force finished 2nd for the weekend in as many weeks.
