Ridgewood Swim Club opened the 2013 Southwest Virginia Swim League season with a win over the Meadows Swim Club and Blacksburg Country Club Thursday evening at the Ridgewood pool.

It was a recording setting day Saturday at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center, as the Southwest Virginia Swim League concluded its season with its 2012 SVSL Championships, which saw the Shawnee Swim Club easily out-swim their competition.
