The A's pounded out 24 hits, as they swept the Salem Bobcats 10-4 and 11-1 in New River Valley Mens Senior Baseball League action last Sunday at Auburn High School.
In the opener, the A's took an early lead in pulling away for the 10-4 victory.
Johnny Moore led the A's with a 3-for-4 effort and three RBIs. Scott Wickam was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and Zach Ames went 2-for-3.
Andrew McNeil picked up the win on the mound. He gave up four runs on eight hits, walked three and struck out five in going the distance.
In the second game of the afternoon, Sott Wickam scattered three hits in helping lead the A's to the 11-1 win.
Wickam gave up one run, walked five and struck out six in a complete game effort.
Andrew McNel led the A's with a 2-for-4 showing and three RBIs. Ben Bjerke went 1-for-4 with two RBIs, Brian Wotring was 2-for-3 with an RBI and Johnny Moore added two hits.
