The Dixie District 6 Sub-District Softball Tournament will get underway this Friday evening at the Kiwanis Field with games scheduled in the Angels and Ponytails Division.

Teams from Montgomery County, Christiansburg and Radford will be competing in the Angels Division, while squads from Blacksburg, Radford, Christiansburg, Giles and Montgomery County are participating in the Ponytails Division. The winner of each division will play in a best-of-three series starting on July 1 at the Harkrader Sports Complex for the District 6 title against the winners of the other sub-district, which includes Carroll County, Floyd, Galax and Grayson County.

The cost of admission per day is $4 (13 and up), $3 (ages 6-12) and free for those under the age of six.
