The Christiansburg Parks and Recreation Department will be offering a pair of softball clinics in March and April.
The clinics will be held on Monday, March 12 and Monday, April 16 at the Kiwanis Small Field from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The clinics are for those ages eight and older. The fee is $60 for each session or $110 for both.
Offensive skills will be taught at the March clinic and pitching/defensive skills will be discussed at the April clinic. Please bring any equipment that is appropriate for the clinics. All ages will be taught skills pertinent to their ages.
The instructors for both clinics are former Virginia Tech Hokie softball players Whitney Davis and Kenzie Roark. Both were members of the Hokie softball team that defeated team USA in an exhibition. Davis is a two-time ACC Champ and Roark has one ACC Championship.
