New Swimming Lesson Sessions Begin This Week In Roanoke County

Roanoke County's first session of swimming lessons in 2012 kicks off this week at Green Ridge Recreation Center.

 

Camp Roanoke Receives Largest Ever Annual Donation From Marine Mud Run

In a Board of Supervisors meeting last week, Roanoke County was presented with a $15,000 check for infrastructure improvements at Camp Roanoke, courtesy of the Roanoke Valley U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Unit and Marine Corps League Detachment 426.

   

Roanoke County Announces Upcoming Sports Clinics

Several High School, College and Travel teams have once again worked with Roanoke County Parks, Recreation and Tourism to set up several camps for youth recreation players to work on their skills over the summer.

   

Announcing The 4th Annual NRRC Soccer Clinic

The North Roanoke Recreation Club (NRRC) will hold its 4th Annual Soccer Clinic June 21-24 for the U10, U12 and U14 age groups for the 2010 season.

   

Roanoke County To Offer Baseball Camp

Roanoke County has provided an oppurtuity for the youth of the Roanoke Valley to knock the rust off their bats and break in thier gloves prior to the 2010 recreation season. This fun and exciting camp will cover the fundamentals of baseball including hitting, infielding, outfielding, and base running on March 27-28.

Roanoke County has provided an oppurtuity for the youth of the Roanoke Valley to knock the rust off their bats and break in thier gloves prior to the 2010 recreation season. This fun and exciting camp will cover the fundamentals of softball including hitting, infielding, outfielding, and base running on March 20-21.
