Bobby Brajdic won two events to help lead Lord Botetourt to the boys championship, while Kacy Edsall earned a pair of titles, to help William Byrd claim the girls crown in the Blue Ridge District swim meet at the Gator Aquatic Center.
Brajdic won the 200 IM (2:06.78) and 500 free (5:05.27), as Lord Botetourt outdistanced Staunton River 160-146. Northside's Logan Altizer took the 200 free (2:03.76) and the 100 breast (1:14.16). Staunton River's Jordan Dehli won the 50 free (23.35) and 100 free (53.01), and teammate C.P. Dehli took the 100 fly (54.84) and 100 back (58.77).
William Byrd slipped past Northside, 148-141, in the girls meet. Edsall won the 50 free (25.53) and 100 fly (1:00.01), Northside's Victoria Mesner swept the 200 IM (2:27.78) and 500 free (5:30.17), while Lord Botetourt's Mackenzie Lingle won the 200 free (2:06.82) and 100 free (58.44).
