In a battle of county rivals, Lord Botetourt rallied in the top of the seventh inning, to hand James River a 7-3 non-district baseball loss Monday evening in Buchanan.

The Cavaliers (1-0) scored six runs with 2 outs in the top of the 7th to rally for the win. Jamie O'Neill's RBI-single scored the go-ahead run and Robert Patten had a 3-run double in the inning for Lord Botetourt.

Tyler Duke had two hits, including a double, and two RBI's for James River. Andrew Tucker and J.B. O'Conner also had a pair of hits each for the Knights.
