Lord Botetourt opened up Blue Ridge District play Thursday night, as they claimed a 25-19, 25-11 and 25-20 victory over Staunton River in Moneta.
Macey Tyree paced the Cavaliers (7-4, 1-0 BRD) with 12 kills, 12 digs and five aces and Katy Hall tallied 10 kills.
Bri Holdren led the Golden Eagles (2-9, 0-1 BRD) with 12 digs and Jill Ferguson added 10 digs.
