Lord Botetourt kept host Cave Spring winless on the season, as the Cavaliers rode away with a 49-28 non-district girls' basketball win Wednesday night in the opening day of the Knights Winter Classic.

The Cavaliers (5-3) raced out to 36-16 halftime lead and never looked back, as they claimed the 21-point road win.

Jade Lewis led Lord Botetourt with a game-high 17 points.

Jordan Markey led Cave Spring (0-9) with eight points.
