Lord Botetourt took an early lead in cruising to 69-38 Blue Ridge District girls' basketball win over Alleghany Friday night in Low Moor.

The Cavaliers (18-3, 9-0 BRD), who led 32-15 at the half, continued to have their way in the second half, as they claimed the 31-point road win.

Jade Lewis led Lord Botetourt with a game-high 21 points and Emily Wampler chipped in with 16 points.

Kelsey Brown paced Alleghany (6-15, 2-7 BRD) with 10 points.
