Northside pulled away in the second quarter, as the Vikings knocked off visiting Cave Spring in non-district boys' basketball action Saturday night.
With the game tied at 9-all at the ending of the opening quarter, the Vikings (8-5) went on a 16-2 run in the second quarter to take a 25-11 halftime lead. Northside continued to have the upper-hand in the second half, claiming the 15-point home win.
Aaron Cupp and Alex Couture led Cave Spring (9-7) with seven points apiece.
Todd Crowder led Northside with a game-high 16 points.
