Northside placed four players in double-figures, as the Vikings earned a 76-66 Blue Ridge District girls' basketball win over Rockbridge County Friday night in Roanoke.
The Vikings (8-12, 4-5 BRD), who led 37-31 at the half, slowly pulled away in the final two quarters to earn the 10-point win at home.
Chelsea Padgett paced Rockbridge (6-15, 1-8 BRD) with a game-high 20 points and 11 rebounds. Shandra Snyder had 19 points, Lauren Rowsey scored 13 points and Hannah Crouse added 10 points.
Taylor Carter led Northside with 18 points. Carla Anderson contributed 16 points and 13 rebounds, Karlie Pope tossed in 16 points and Emma Wade finished with 13 points.
