In a battle of county rivals, Rockbridge County cruised to an easy 49-29 non-district girl's basketball win over Parry McCluer Thursday night in Buena Vista.

Leading 25-17 at the half, the Wildcats (3-2) outscored the Fighting Blues (0-4) 18-2 in the third quarter, pulling away for the 20-point win.

Keely Fresh led Rocksbridge County with a game-high 16 points and Lauren Rowsey contributed 10 points.

Chastity Clark and Katy Patterson paced Parry McCluer with eight points apiece.
