Heritage handed Staunton River its first loss of the season, 25-15, 25-20 and 25-17 in non-district volleyball action Tuesday night in Moneta.

Miya Hamlett led the Pioneers (2-1) with 14 kills and 10 digs.

Jewell McRoy led the Golden Eagles (4-1) with nine assists and Brie Holdren added six kills.
