Jessica Mahoney twirled a no-hitter and struck out 14 batters, as the Terriers cruised to a 9-0 Blue Ridge District softball win over Staunton River Tuesday evening in Vinton.

Jamie Green led William Byrd (11-2, 3-0 BRD) with a two-run homer and three RBIs. Sam White and Lindsey Brown added three hits each for the winners.
