Wm. Byrd hit the road for its first Blue Ridge District match of the season and came away with a 5-4 victory against Alleghany in a boys tennis match played Friday afternoon in Low Moor.
"Much like our first meeting, many of the matches were close, with three being decided by tiebreakers," said Wm. Byrd head coach Jason Perdue. "We grounded out a hard fought 5-4 victory to move to 4-0 in the district and 7-4 overall,"
