William Byrd's swimmers finished first in 19-of-22 events Monday evening, as the Terriers swept Northside 131-39 on the girl's side and 89-67 on the boy's side.
First place finishes included the Byrd Boy's Medley Relay (Drew Vipperman, Luke Gerig, Tyler Hartman, Corben West), and the Girls' 200 Medley Relay (Kali Edsall, Annie Lane, Kacy Edsall, Mackenzie Lingle).
Individual winnersfor the Terriers included Brittany Ritter (200 Free), Drew Vipperman (200 IM and 100 Breast), Mackenzie Lingle (200 IM), Corben West (50 Free), Annie Lane (50 Free and 100 Breast), Kali Edsall (100 Fly and 500 Free), Michael Reid (100 Free), Kacy Edsall (100 Free), Luke Gerig (500 Free), Boys' 200 Free Relay (Reid Inman Mcguire, West), Girls' 200 Free Relay (Ritter, Crocker, Vipperman, Courtney Heck), Courtney Heck (100 Back), Girls'400 Free Relay (Lane Edsall, Lingle, Edsall), Boys' 400 Free Relay (Gerig Inman, Hartman, Vipperman)
"We had several best times and a few more state cuts. That makes me very happy," said William Byrd coach Krista Martin. "The kids are really working hard in practice and now they are starting to enjoy the benefits of their dedication."
The Terriers next meet will be at the All Timesland Invitational on January 7th.
