George Wythe swept the top honors on the All-Hogoheegee District boys soccer team, as Brandon Atwell was named Player of the Year and Stu Vaught was selected Coach of the Year.

Chilhowie freshman Forrest Haga tossed six strong innings to get his first career win, as the Warriors defeated Marion 5-3 in a non-district baseball game Wednesday night in Chilhowie.
Daniel Ashby picked up the save and also had a solo homer in the sixth inning for Chilhowie. Scott Pennington had two hits and Rhett Sturgill led off the game with a triple and two runs for the Warriors.
