George Wythe used a balanced scoring attack, as the Maroons claimed a 75-70 non-district boys' basketball win over host Marion Monday night.
The Scarlet Hurricanes (8-10), who held a slim 43-41 halftime lead, increased their advantage to 56-52 after three quarters of play. The Maroons (15-5) went on a 23-14 run in the fourth quarter to come from behind and claim the five-point road win.
Hardy Lester paced George Wythe with 17 points. Isaac Baltazar tossed in 15 points and Shaquille Calsee added 14 points.
Austin Klug led Marion with 17 points.
