Fort Chiswell cruised out to an early lead and never glanced back, as the Pioneers claimed a 79-57 non-district boys basketball win Tuesday night in Max Meadows.

The Pioneers (2-0), who led 41-23 at the half, continued to dominate throughout the second half in claiming the 22-point victory.

Jake Shelburn led Auburn (1-2) with 21 points and Marshall Jones chipped in with 15 points.

Nathanial Worrell led Fort Chiswell with a game-high 28 points. Brett Mabry and Coleman Thomas added 10 points each.
