Galax placed three players in double figures, as the Maroon Tide rolled to a 60-39 win over visiting Grayson County in Mountain Empire District girls' basketball action Friday night.

The Maroon Tide (10-3, 3-0 MED) jumped out to a 26-14 halftime lead and continued to dominate in the second half in claiming the 21-point win at home.

Meredith Frost paced Grayson County (5-7, 2-1 MED) with a  game-high 18 points and Camryn McGrody scored 11 points.

Bailey Shumate led Galax with 13 points, while Allison White and Hailey Cassell scored 12 points each.
