Galax remained unbeaten on the season, as the Maroon Tide claimed a 49-43 non-district boys' basketball win over Carroll County Monday night in Hillsville.

The Cavaliers (15-3), who led 24-21 at the half, saw the Maroon Tide (16-0) go on a 17-8 run in the fourth quarter to come back and earn the six-point road win to keep their perfect season intact.

Devonte McKinney paced Galax with a game-high 19 points, while Lawrence Parsons and Austin Pack scored 12 apiece.

Wes Smoot led Carroll County with 14 points and Ryan Gravely finished with 12 points.
