n a battle of county rivals, Narrows opened its season with a 25-21, 25-22 and 26-24 non-district volleyball win over visiting Giles Monday night.
Savanna Burton paced the Green Wave (1-0) with 16 kills, 10 digs, three aces and a pair of blocks. Lauren Kellison posted 18 assists, while Andi Johnston finished with five blocks and two kills.
