Narrows' Chandler Burton notched a double-double in helping the Green Wave to a 54-48 non-district boys basketball action over visiting Eastern Montgomery Tuesday night.

The Green Wave (1-0), who held 28-17 lead at the half, increased their advantage to 46-31 heading into the final quarter. The Mustangs (0-1) outscored Narrows 17-8 to make the final score more respectable.

J.T. Schrader led East Mont, who was 8-of-16 at the foul line, with 22 points and James Fields chipped in with 14 points.

Chandler Burton led Narrows with a game-high 24 points and 16 rebounds. Rodney Perdue and Cody Cumbee finished with 10 points each.
