In a battle of county rivals, Narrows held on to defeat visiting Giles 50-43 in non-district boy's basketball action Friday night.

The Green Wave (2-2), who led 27-14 at the break, withstood a late rally by the Spartans (1-3) to garner the seven-point victory.

Dylan Raymond led Giles with 11 points and John Shelor posted 10 points.

Cody Cumbee led Narrows with 12 points, 13 rebounds, four blocks, and four steals. Chandler Burton recorded 20 points and 10 rebounds.
