Deleigh Barbour recorded 15 points and 14 kills, as she helped lead Patrick County to a hard-fought 17-25, 25-18, 25-15, 15-25 and 15-13 non-district volleyball win over host Mt. Airy, N.C. Wednesday night.

Hannah Helbert had 18 points and nine kills, Kaylayna Cassady added eight kills and Ginna Williams finished with 25 assists for the Cougars (4-3).

In the JV match, Mt. Airy won 25-21 and 25-19.

Whitney Foley and Beth Williams had five service points each for Patrick County (2-5).
 
Patrick County returns to the court on Tuesday, Sept. 21, when they travel to Floyd.
