Deleigh Barbour tallied 10 kills and two blocks, as she helped lead Patrick County to a 27-25, 25-20 and 25-23 Piedmont District win over Bassett Thursday night in Stuart.

Hannah Helbert had seven kills and three aces, while Ginna Williams finished with 17 assists for the Cougars (6-3, 1-0).

The Bengals fell to 4-7 and 0-1 in the district.
