Patrick County advanced to the championship game of the Piedmont District volleyball tournament with a 25-18, 25-22 and 25-12 win over Magna Vista Tuesday night.

Patrick County will play Bassett in the championship game tonight at 7 p.m. at Tunstall.

Hannah Helbert led the Cougars with 10 kills and five aces. Tkeyah Hines had six kills and three blocks and Samantha Smith had six kills and six aces.
