Patrick County picked up its first win of the young season, as the Cougars knocked off North Stokes, NC 43-37 in non-district girls basketball action Wednesday night in Stuart.

The Cougars (1-1), who trailed 30-28 at the end of the third quarter, outscored North Stokes (2-1) 15-7 in the final quarter to earn their first win.

Bri Dodson led Patrick County with a game-high 14 points.
