Craig County netted its first win of the season, as they handed Narrows its first loss of the season, 25-20, 25-20 and 25-18 in non-distict volleyball play Monday night in New Castle.

Christine Surface led the Rockets (1-1) with 12 assists and five aces. Holly Broughman posted five kills and three block shots, while Sarah Lipps added four kills.

The Green Wave fell to 2-1 on the young season.
