Reanna Hamm won four events to lead the Knights to the girls crown, while Troy Helton claimed three events to help lead the Cougars to the boys title in the Pioneer District track meet Friday.
In the girls meet, James River ran away from second-place finisher Covington, 225-63, to claim the girls championship.
The Knights were led by Hamm, who won the long jump, triple jump, 200-meter dash, and 400-meter dash. Britta Grim, also of James River, was first inĀ the 800 meter and 1,600-meter runs, while teammate Savannah Sharkey came home in first place in the high jump and 100-meter dash.
River's Katie George won both the 100 meter and 300-meter hurdles.
In the boys events, Helton won the long jump, high jump and triple jump events to lead the Cougars to the boys crown. Ryan Kidd won the 100 and 200-meter dashes for Covington.
Nate Martin of Parry McCluer was a double-winner in the 1,600 meters and 3,200 meters.
Russell Rexrode of James River was also a multiple-winner, as he claimed the shot put and discus.
