Personally, I think they should do away with the all-district, all-region and all-state teams all together. All of these teams are politically motivated by coaches/ADs to start with. If they don;t like a kid or a school, they will do what ever it takes to screw the kid out of an award. All these awards do is just make people mad at each other and cause hard feelings. Just do away with all these BS awards and I'm sure everyone will be happy, maybe.

I don't disagree w/ placing 3 players and the coach of the year for PM, but the POY award should have gone to Ware from JR. Had better stats, is a senior, and is a way better player.....kind of ridculous. Hopefully he doesn't get screwed out of Regional POY as well.

With all due respect, they beat JR 2 out of 3 times, swept the regular season title.

They WERE the best team in the district all season long, just because they lost the Tournament game doesn't take away from the fact they went 2 for 3 against JR this year.

How can you have the coach of the year, the player of the year, and 2 others on the first team and still not be the best team in the district? You have to wonder about who does the voting for this stuff.
