Alleghany used a late second half rally, as they defeated James River, 5-2, in a non-district boys soccer match Wednesday night in Low Moor.
The Knights (1-5-1) took an early 1-0 lead and entered halftime tied at 1-1.
The Mountaineers led 3-2, before scoring a pair of goals in the last five minutes, to make the final 5-2.
KW King led James River with two goals. Ethan Brannan and Hunter Keith each had an assist.
Goalie Cameron Bell recorded 16 saves for the Knights.
