It was a special day in Buchanan, as two James River standouts signed their Letters of Intent to continue their academic-athletic careers at various colleges.

Ethan Humphries will continue his basketball career at near-by Roanoke College, while Andrew Tucker will showcase his baseball talents at Hampden-Sydney this fall.

Both Humphries and Tucker played on the Knights state champion basketball team this past season.
