James River blanked Bath County, 2-0, to secure the Pioneer District regular-season boys soccer title Friday night in Buchanan.

Ethan Branan and Stephen Gray scored a goal each for the Knights (6-5-1, 4-0 PD), while Hunter Keith added an assist.

James River's goalie Brandon Gilbert recorded four saves and finished district play with four shutouts.

The Knights defense allowed nine shots on goal in the match.

James River will host a Region C match on Tuesday, June 1.
