James River used a balanced scoring attack, as the Knights earned their first win of the season, 63-49, over host Glenvar in non-district boy's basketball action Tuesday night.
The Knights (1-5), who led by two, 41-39, after three quarters of action, outscored the Highlanders (5-2) 22-10 in the fourth quarter to pull away for the 14-point victory.
J.T. Sandidge led James River with a game-high 20 points, including a trio of 3-pointers. John Bennett had 17 points and Bryan Hoppe added 10 points.
Karlyn East paced Glenvar with 15 points. Chris Hodges contributed 13 points and Tyler Crockett tossed in 12 points, all from outside the arc.
