Parry McCluer handed Auburn its 24th-straight loss, as the Fighting Blues cruised to a 41-18 non-district football win Friday night in Buchanan.
The Blues (3-3) raced out to a 21-0 halftime lead on a 25-yard and 66-yard run by Lucas Wheeler, along with a 3-yard run by Jacob Wheeler.
In the third quarter, a 1-yard run by J. Wheeler made it 28-0. The Eagles (0-5) finally got on the scoreboard when Gabriel Spencer scored from a yard out to make 28-6. Parry McCluer added a 37-yard run by L. Wheeler to extend its lead to 35-6 heading into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth quarter, Spencer connected with Cody Quesenberry to make it 35-12. A 24-yard run by Dawson upped the Blues lead to 41-12. The Eagles closed out the game with a 3-yard run by Jacob Mullins to make the final 41-18, Parry McCluer.
Gabriel Spencer completed 12-of-23 passes for 185 yards and a touchdown to lead Auburn.
Lucas Wheeler led Parry McCluer with 237 yards on 15 carries and three touchdowns.
