Blacksburg High School Marketing is hosting a ‘Think Pink’ game on Friday, Oct. 26th. The goal is to promote Breast Cancer Awareness., as the Bruins football team will be facing off against Pulaski at 7:30 p.m. at Bill Brown Stadium.
The marketing department will be selling ‘Think Pink’ gear at the game such as sunglasses, pens, pencils, bracelets, buttons, and more. There will also be raffle tickets for sale for just $1. Buying a raffle ticket will enter you for a chance to win over 20 prizes provided by Moe’s, Frosty Parrot, Starbucks, Rita’s, Mad Dog, Gobble Cakes, and other local businesses. The proceeds will be going to breast cancer research.
“Think Pink” t-shirts will also be available for purchase for $10. All t-shirt proceeds will be going to the NRUSA Polly Zeiger Memorial Scholarship which will assist local soccer players with financial need. Polly was a beloved MCPS teacher who lost her fight with breast cancer last year. Please help honor Polly's bright spirit of "light and love" by supporting this effort.
